Joe DiRenzo

My Coast Guard service and engineering background influence my advisory approach, built on transparent communication, tactical guidance and core principles of honor and respect.

Joe DiRenzo provides mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory services to private equity firms, private companies and family-owned businesses across the industrials and energy transition sectors. He works within Lincoln’s Industrials Group to advise clients across a diverse range of transaction types, including in sell-side and buy-side M&A deals.

Joe combines his deep industrials expertise with a collaborative approach to help clients achieve optimal outcomes. His hands-on advisory process involves cultivating genuine relationships and a deep understanding of the client’s key positioning attributes and growth objectives.

Prior to joining Lincoln, Joe was a Project Manager in the U.S. Coast Guard, overseeing the design and implementation of maritime projects. His other experiences include working as a business and financial analyst at various industrial firms.

Joe earned a Master of Science from BI Norwegian Business School, a Master of Engineering in natural gas technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the United States Coast Guard Academy. He holds a Professional Engineering license from the state of Connecticut in Mechanical Engineering.
