Aurora Capital Partners has agreed to sell FMG Suite to GTCR
FMG Suite
Founded in 2011, FMG provides marketing automation solutions to wealth advisory and insurance professionals, helping advisors and agents drive organic growth through omnichannel marketing solutions while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The company’s purpose-built platform, robust content library and integrated compliance workflows create a mission-critical “one-stop shop” for advisors, facilitating client engagement. FMG currently serves over 50,000 financial professionals and, through its Agency Revolution brand, over 3,500 property and casualty insurance agencies.
The Deal
Lincoln International was engaged to lead FMG’s sale process due to its highly relevant experience in front-office software, long-standing partnership with the company and extensive relationships in the financial and marketing technology ecosystems. Lincoln ran a competitive process, highlighting FMG’s highly differentiated, AI- and compliance-driven front-office advisor workflow, successful enterprise expansion and sustained organic and inorganic growth achieved during the company’s partnership with Aurora.
Scott White, CEO of FMG commented, “Lincoln has been a trusted advisor to FMG over the years, and they were a valuable partner to me and the management team throughout this transaction. Their knowledge of our business and command of the process allowed my team to keep their focus on running the business, ensuring strong company performance, which was essential to achieving this outcome.”
Leveraging FMG’s history of customer-centric product innovation, under GTCR’s ownership, the company will continue to build out its product suite and technology capabilities to meet the evolving needs of its client base and expand its market reach. FMG represents the latest partnership in GTCR’s long history of investing in wealth, marketing and insurance services and technology, including current investments in AssetMark, AssuredPartners, CAPTRUST, Foundation Source, Simpli.fi and Winged Keel.
Our Perspective
Sam Jackson, Managing Director in Lincoln International’s Technology Group who led the transaction, commented, “It has been a privilege to partner with Aurora Capital Partners and FMG on another successful transaction. FMG’s unique go-to-market approach and all-in-one front-office advisor workflow, coupled with GTCR’s extensive knowledge and long track record of driving growth through acquisitions, will further propel the transformation initiated under Aurora’s stewardship.”
