Communication Systems (Com-Sys), based in Germany, is a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions that specializes in managed detection and response (MDR) and managed security services (MSS). The company provides a wide range of cybersecurity and network solutions, including its own security operations center (SOC) with permanent monitoring, rapid threat detection and immediate incident response. With more than 20 years of experience, Com-Sys has established a strong reputation for protecting mid-sized enterprises and critical infrastructure (KRITIS) with tailored security solutions that successfully address the growing number of cyber threats.

The Deal

In a strategic move to expand its presence in the German-speaking cybersecurity market, the Swiss cybersecurity leader InfoGuard acquired Com-Sys. This acquisition marks a significant milestone in InfoGuard’s expansion and strengthens its position as one of the largest cybersecurity providers in the German-speaking region. The combined company will offer customers holistic SOC services, advanced MDR solutions, consulting and penetration testing capabilities. With the established market presence and proprietary SOC expertise of Com-Sys, InfoGuard strengthens its ability to provide a broader and more comprehensive portfolio of cybersecurity solutions.
